Showcase your photography skills and win a trip to the UK

The Alumni UK photo competition is now open!

We invite all UK alumni to share your best photographs of your time in the UK, or photos that relate to your experience of studying at a UK university.

From documentary/photojournalism and street photography, to sport, wildlife, fine arts, portraits, environmental conservation and diversity – the sky is the limit. You will be able to submit a maximum of one photo per category:

  • Cultural diversity
  • Environment and landscape
  • Culture, creativity and innovation
  • Community and social action.

The winning photo submission in each category, plus the most popular photo submission as voted by your peers, will win a trip to the UK.

Congratulations to the winners of our online survey incentive draw

Thank you to everyone who responded to our Alumni UK online survey. A total of 2,728 alumni from around the world participated, and their responses will inform how we continue to support UK alumni and prospective international students.

We would like to extend a special congratulations to the winners of the survey incentive draw. One participant will receive a trip to the UK. Another 100 participants will receive memberships to the British Council Digital Library, and a further 59 will get access to exclusive professional training. We are in the process of contacting winners, so please check your email. Winners will be announced on the Alumni UK platform once prizes have been confirmed.

Our online survey will be an annual research project, so there will be even more opportunities to win next year. In the meantime, we thank you again for your participation.

Regional Ambassadors selected

After a successful interview process, we will be announcing the names of our Regional Ambassadors in our April bulletin.

Again, we thank everyone for applying. If you are yet to receive communications from us regarding your application, you will be contacted in due course.

We are also now shortlisting applications for our SDG Ambassador roles, and will provide further updates in our April bulletin.

Thank you for completing our training survey

We would like to thank you for completing our short survey on the types of training you are interested in. We will be using the results to ensure the training we offer through Alumni UK is as best suited to the needs of our diverse community as it can be.
