A trainer from Vitae, part of the Careers Research Advisory Centre (CRAC) will lead this 90 minute session, to encourage participants to consider the career choices open to researchers beyond academia. It is particularly useful to early career researchers who are planning their immediate and medium-term future.

Meet Dr Minh Ngoc Nguyen, recent recipient of a British Council Women in STEM Scholarships award. Dr Nguyen is a research fellow at Aston University. Her research focuses on laser applications in cancer treatment and the development of wearable laser sensors for early cardiovascular disease diagnosis.
