Welcome to our October newsletter

Dear Phil,

We start a new teacher educator theme this October, Contributing to the profession. Each and every one of us has contributed to the teaching profession, so what better way to celebrate our expertise than on World Teachers’ Day, marking its 60th year. Join us on 9 October for a collective thank you and find out how you can share your insights and become a TeachingEnglish webinar presenter.

Research is a big part of contributing to the profession, and our October webinar presents findings from two research projects on gender-responsive, inclusive and social-justice oriented approaches to English language teaching.

Support teachers in their own research through our quick read on Classroom action research. You never know what ideas and innovation might emerge.
