Funding: UK Space Agency Satellite Communications

 

UK Space Agency funding pioneering satellite services that will boost connectivity in the UK's most remote areas, in support of Department for Science, Innovation and Technology's Very Hard to Reach Programme. The call is being run in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA). The call is focussed on three different projects. Total of £3.5 million of UK funding available.

Funding: ERC Consolidator Grants Initial Results 

 

The European Research Council (ERC) has awarded its 2024 Consolidator Grants to 328 researchers across Europe. These grants, totalling €678 million, aim to support outstanding scientists and scholars as they establish their independent research teams and develop their ideas. The UK was joint second in the results.

Submit a collaborative research grant application within the remit of Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and US National Science Foundation, Social, Behavioural and Economic Sciences Directorate (NSF-SBE). AHRC and NSF-SBE welcome international researchers to apply as ‘project co-lead (international)’.
